In modeling for the second round of the future presidential election, Volodymyr Zelensky will still win over Petro Poroshenko, but the gap between them is narrowing, and Poroshenko’s ratings are increasing.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Razumkov Centre’s sociological service from November 11 to 17
“In the case of electoral run off in the second round with Poroshenko, V. Zelensky would receive 26% of the votes of all respondents or 54% of the votes of those who will take part in the election and decide who to vote for, Poroshenko – 22% and 46% respectively “, the sociologists wrote.
According to the Razumkov Center, following polling conducted in late July-early August 2021, 28% of all respondents were ready to vote for Zelensky. And the share of those who are ready to vote for Poroshenko has increased significantly – from 17% to 22%.
The survey was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from November 11 to 17, 2021 using face-to-face interviews at the place of residence of the respondents.
Sociologists surveyed 2,018 respondents over the age of 18 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, according to a sample representing the adult population according to the main socio-demographic indicators. The theoretical sampling error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3% with a probability of 0.95.
